We have a great pleasure to inform that IFE Fire Test and research Laboratory has been set up, commissioned and now activities of the Test Laboratory are running in full swing. The laboratory is regularly conducting the following activities in the Laboratory in Gurgaon:-
Testing of portable Fire Extinguisher-Performance and Construction for Water type, Foam, DCP and CO2 type as per IS: 15683:2006 & other specific relevant IS Standards.
Testing of Fire Fighting Foam Concentrates—Physical, Chemical & Performance Test as per IS: 4989; 2006 and IS: 4989, Part-4, 1999.
Testing of Dry Chemical Powder both BC & ABC as per IS: 4308:2003 and IS: 14609; 1999.
We are proud to state that IFE Fire Test and Research Laboratory is fully equipped laboratory in India where Test of Portable Fire Extinguishers as per 15683:2006 and other specific relevant IS Standards are carried out.
We would like to inform all concerned that IFE laboratory is under process of getting NABL accreditation and Laboratory is functioning as per the laid down procedure IS/ISO/IEC-17025:2005 (General Requirements for the competency of Testing and Calibration Laboratories) which is the main criteria of NABL accreditation. All tests are carried out by the competent & experienced scientist, technicians and fire operators. The Instruments are calibrated from the NABL accredited Laboratories.
Details for testing fees, No. of samples & time required for testing is given for information of all concerned, the Interested parties i.e. Manufactures and bulk purchasers from Govt, Public undertakings Institutions and Industry may send enquiry for additional information and samples of Portable Fire Extinguishers and Foam Concentrate/Dry Chemical Powder for the relevant test and report to the
