The institution holds Examination for Graduateship in Fire Engineering annually in the month of September on all India basis. The Examination is conducted through various universities.
Institutions of repute under their supervisory control in different states. The number of examination centres is added when there are more than ten examinees equating for examination centre subject to the consent from the respective University/ Institution for extending the facility for holding the examination. For more details refer to prospectus for Graduateship & Membership examination respectively, which can be procured against payment of Rs. 250/- in favour of IFE (I) through DD or can be collected in person against on cash payment from the Institution
The Graduateship examination conducted by the Institution is recognized by the Govt. of India for the purpose of employment & promotion in senior posts in services. Upto the level of Divisional officer/Assistant Divisional. Copy of the recognition letter is reproduced as under :-
