THE CONFERENCE

The Institution of Fire Engineers (India) is proud to announce the 20th edition of the FIRE INDIA — International Conference & Exhibition, to be held from 28th to 30th September 2026 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi. This flagship three-day event is India's premier platform where fire & emergency services, safety leaders, policymakers, industry, academia, and solution providers come together to deliberate on the most pressing challenges shaping Fire & Life Safety in a rapidly transforming India.

Theme of FIRE INDIA 2026 is "Future-Ready Fire & Life Safety: Mission 2047"

As India advances toward its long-term national vision, fire and life safety must evolve in step with fast-growing cities, complex infrastructure, digital systems, and industrial expansion. This year's conference spotlights actionable pathways to reduce fire risk, strengthen emergency response, and accelerate adoption of modern solutions — so India can move toward a future where safety is engineered into every stage of growth.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS

The Institution of Fire Engineers (India) was established in 1973 following recommendations from the Standing Fire Advisory Council, led by the Director General of Civil Defence, Home Guard & Fire Service, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Founded as a premier professional body under the Societies Act of 1860, the Institution emerged from deliberations chaired by the then Deputy Home Minister, Sh. B.N. Datar.

The INSTITUTION OF FIRE ENGINEERS (INDIA) fosters comprehensive knowledge across all dimensions of Fire Engineering through dynamic conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and collaborative forums. We are committed to professional development through rigorous assessments, awarding certificates and diplomas that enhance individual credentials and validate competency in fire safety practices.

As India's fire safety landscape evolves with rapid urbanization and technological advancement, the Institution stands as the nation's foremost body dedicated to Fire Engineering professionals. We cultivate a collaborative ecosystem where knowledge is shared, innovations are nurtured, and collective expertise drives national fire safety advancement.

This 20th edition of the IFE (India) Fire Conference represents our most ambitious undertaking, strategically aligned with India's Mission 2047 vision. Under the theme "Future-Ready Fire & Life Safety: Mission 2047," this landmark conference addresses cutting-edge innovations, next-generation regulations, climate-adaptive strategies, and digital transformation. Our six specialized tracks will equip delegates with expert insights needed to build a safer, more resilient India.

The Institution continues to expand its vision, fostering a unified community dedicated to engineering safety into every aspect of India's growth story.
